Recognition

Charlie Evaristo-Boyce is a contemporary British printmaker and artist known for his bold graphic screen prints, vibrant colour palettes and layered use of found imagery. Working between fine art, typography and contemporary visual culture, Charlie has built a distinctive artistic language that feels playful, energetic and instantly recognisable.

After studying at University for the Creative Arts, where he developed his screen printing practice, Charlie spent several years running an independent art space in Margate, selling prints directly to collectors while developing his signature style. His work has since gained a loyal following through exhibitions, collaborative projects with national brands such as LUSH and limited edition print releases, with collectors drawn to the craftsmanship, boldness and collectable nature of his handmade works.

Today, Charlie works from his studio-gallery space, where he continues to create contemporary screen prints and paintings that blend nostalgia, humour and expressive graphic composition.

Practice

Central to Charlie’s practice is the traditional process of handmade screen printing. Each artwork is built in layers - combining typography, found imagery, graphic forms and bold colour to create compositions rich in texture and depth.

Working entirely by hand, Charlie embraces the subtle imperfections created through the printmaking process, giving every edition its own individuality and sense of craftsmanship. His work often draws from vintage magazines, signage and everyday visual culture, reworked into contemporary prints that feel both nostalgic and modern. One of his most recognised motifs, the word “Amazing”, originated from a 1950s motorcycle advertisement and has since become a recurring visual signature throughout his collections.
